Many people have spoken out about the NBA's decision to suspend Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver for one year and fine him $10 million following a lengthy investigation for his past behavior including racist, misogynistic and hostile words.
LeBron James, Chris Paul, and NBPA executive director Tamika Tremaglio have each expressed that Sarver deserved a more severe punishment. And now, another important voice has spoken out.
In an open letter to the employees and players of the Phoenix Suns, vice chairman and minority owner Jahm Najafi has called for Sarver's resignation and that he will work to find a suitable replacement who treats all employees with equitable respect.
