If the Hornets are for real, these are the types of games this team should win. I&rsquo;m rolling with the Hornets moneyline at -225 odds. And as far as our same-game parlays go, this one feels like an easy winner: Hornets ML, LaMelo Ball 16+ points, Miles Bridges 15+ points at +130 odds. A quick way to double your earnings is betting on the Ball-Bridges duo to keep its hot start going in Orlando.

This is going to be a super entertaining game to follow along with during Wednesday&rsquo;s mega slate. In what should be a high-scoring affair, this one is another I feel very confident about hitting.
Brooklyn Nets (-3.5) vs. Miami Heat
The biggest blockbuster involves Brooklyn and Miami clashing at the Barclays Center. Miami looks the part of a team who could challenge the Nets and Milwaukee Bucks and join them in the Eastern Conference&rsquo;s top tier. Meanwhile, the Nets are off to a slower-than-expected start. With Brooklyn&rsquo;s star power, though, it&rsquo;s going to be hard to ever bet against them. Kevin Durant should have a huge night, plus James Harden should snap out of his <a href="https://www.basketballnews.com/stories/why-isnt-james-harden-getting-to-the-free-throw-line" target="_blank" rel="noopener">current offensive funk</a>. I&rsquo;m hammering the Nets moneyline, plus the following player props to total +210 odds: Durant 25+ points, Harden 15+ points, Harden 2+ threes, Durant 1+ threes. I could easily see Miami making another massive statement on the road, but I&rsquo;m siding with Durant and Harden scorching the rims instead.
Boston Celtics (-4.5) vs. Washington Wizards
Whenever Jayson Tatum and Bradley Beal square off, there&rsquo;s always fireworks that follow. The two St. Louis products always get competitive against one another, and that&rsquo;s what I&rsquo;m expecting once again at the TD Garden. I&rsquo;m going with the Celtics straight-up in a closely-contested game, but a simple St. Louis SGP can boost our odds from -180 to +275: Tatum 25+ points and Beal 25+ points. This is one of my best bets tonight with the Celtics pulling off the W, plus Tatum and Beal trying to one-up each other consistently in the stat sheet.

Indiana has been very fun to watch so far this season, which includes a surprising early Rookie of the Year candidate in Chris Duarte. In Caris LeVert&rsquo;s absence, Duarte has been the starting shooting guard alongside Malcolm Brogdon. With how much head coach Rick Carlisle trusts him, I have a hard time seeing the rookie leaving a prominent role in the rotation anytime soon. As new underdogs, I love Indiana with the plus moneyline here at -105 odds. An enticing same-game parlay is going to trail the two best players on the court as well, Domantas Sabonis and OG Anunoby: Pacers ML, Anunoby 20+ points, Sabonis 15+ points. The defending champions are already dealing with injury concerns to two key contributors, Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez. With that being said, I still love the Bucks to win outright at home tonight. Minnesota has been feisty early on, plus the Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards duo is so entertaining to watch. If you want to double your money, here&rsquo;s a fun SGP at +155 odds currently: Bucks ML, Giannis Antetokounmpo 20+ points, Towns 20+ points, Edwards 15+ points, Khris Middleton 15+ points. There has been so much movement on this spread already throughout the day. Originally opening at -9, it moved down to -3.5 before jumping back up to -5 for the Lakers. LeBron James is out again tonight, plus Anthony Davis is questionable. Even if neither play, I love the possibility of Russell Westbrook going nuclear on his former team. I&rsquo;m rolling with the Westbrook-led Lakers to cover the spread, but expect Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to go toe-to-toe with him as well. Here&rsquo;s a fun SGP to ride the momentum on &mdash; if you&rsquo;re expecting a Westbrook-SGA duel in OKC: Lakers -5, SGA 15+ points, SGA 3+ assists at +200 odds. I&rsquo;m not comfortable enough to go with the straight-up spread here, but hammer the moneyline for Phoenix as a lock best bet. The biggest blockbuster involves Brooklyn and Miami clashing at the Barclays Center. Miami looks the part of a team who could challenge the Nets and Milwaukee Bucks and join them in the Eastern Conference&rsquo;s top tier. Meanwhile, the Nets are off to a slower-than-expected start. With Brooklyn&rsquo;s star power, though, it&rsquo;s going to be hard to ever bet against them. Kevin Durant should have a huge night, plus James Harden should snap out of his <a href="https://www.basketballnews.com/stories/why-isnt-james-harden-getting-to-the-free-throw-line" target="_blank" rel="noopener">current offensive funk</a>. I&rsquo;m hammering the Nets moneyline, plus the following player props to total +210 odds: Durant 25+ points, Harden 15+ points, Harden 2+ threes, Durant 1+ threes. I could easily see Miami making another massive statement on the road, but I&rsquo;m siding with Durant and Harden scorching the rims instead.
Boston Celtics (-4.5) vs. Washington Wizards
Whenever Jayson Tatum and Bradley Beal square off, there&rsquo;s always fireworks that follow. The two St. Louis products always get competitive against one another, and that&rsquo;s what I&rsquo;m expecting once again at the TD Garden. I&rsquo;m going with the Celtics straight-up in a closely-contested game, but a simple St. Louis SGP can boost our odds from -180 to +275: Tatum 25+ points and Beal 25+ points. This is one of my best bets tonight with the Celtics pulling off the W, plus Tatum and Beal trying to one-up each other consistently in the stat sheet.

I&rsquo;m rolling with the Westbrook-led Lakers to cover the spread, but expect Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to go toe-to-toe with him as well. As I mentioned on Wednesday morning&rsquo;s podcast, I&rsquo;m officially all-in on the Hornets being a playoff team this season. LaMelo Ball is officially taking the star leap, plus Miles Bridges is jumping up another tier of his own thanks to some strong all-around shooting. If the Hornets are for real, these are the types of games this team should win. I&rsquo;m rolling with the Hornets moneyline at -225 odds. And as far as our same-game parlays go, this one feels like an easy winner: Hornets ML, LaMelo Ball 16+ points, Miles Bridges 15+ points at +130 odds. A quick way to double your earnings is betting on the Ball-Bridges duo to keep its hot start going in Orlando.
New Orleans Pelicans vs. Atlanta Hawks (-5)
This is going to be a super entertaining game to follow along with during Wednesday&rsquo;s mega slate. Trae Young in the Bayou taking on Brandon Ingram and the Pelicans, who are still without Zion Williamson. Thanks to Atlanta&rsquo;s overall depth, I&rsquo;m hammering the Hawks straight-up here on the road. Expect a fun battle between Young and Ingram in the scoring department as well, which is what I&rsquo;m parlaying into our SGP at +200: Hawks ML, Young 20+ points, Ingram 20+ points, Young 7+ assists, Young 1+ threes, Ingram 1+ threes. In what should be a high-scoring affair, this one is another I feel very confident about hitting.
Brooklyn Nets (-3.5) vs. Miami Heat
The biggest blockbuster involves Brooklyn and Miami clashing at the Barclays Center. Miami looks the part of a team who could challenge the Nets and Milwaukee Bucks and join them in the Eastern Conference&rsquo;s top tier. Meanwhile, the Nets are off to a slower-than-expected start. With Brooklyn&rsquo;s star power, though, it&rsquo;s going to be hard to ever bet against them. Kevin Durant should have a huge night, plus James Harden should snap out of his <a href="https://www.basketballnews.com/stories/why-isnt-james-harden-getting-to-the-free-throw-line" target="_blank" rel="noopener">current offensive funk</a>. I&rsquo;m hammering the Nets moneyline, plus the following player props to total +210 odds: Durant 25+ points, Harden 15+ points, Harden 2+ threes, Durant 1+ threes. I could easily see Miami making another massive statement on the road, but I&rsquo;m siding with Durant and Harden scorching the rims instead.
Boston Celtics (-4.5) vs. Washington Wizards
Whenever Jayson Tatum and Bradley Beal square off, there&rsquo;s always fireworks that follow. The two St. Louis products always get competitive against one another, and that&rsquo;s what I&rsquo;m expecting once again at the TD Garden. I&rsquo;m going with the Celtics straight-up in a closely-contested game, but a simple St. Louis SGP can boost our odds from -180 to +275: Tatum 25+ points and Beal 25+ points. This is one of my best bets tonight with the Celtics pulling off the W, plus Tatum and Beal trying to one-up each other consistently in the stat sheet.
Toronto Raptors (-1) vs. Indiana Pacers
When &ldquo;Nothing But Bets&rdquo; was recorded early Wednesday morning, Indiana was actually a 2-point favorite. So, we&rsquo;re seeing a sudden surge go towards Toronto here. Luckily for my bets, that plays right into a better-odds-booster. Indiana has been very fun to watch so far this season, which includes a surprising early Rookie of the Year candidate in Chris Duarte. In Caris LeVert&rsquo;s absence, Duarte has been the starting shooting guard alongside Malcolm Brogdon. With how much head coach Rick Carlisle trusts him, I have a hard time seeing the rookie leaving a prominent role in the rotation anytime soon. As new underdogs, I love Indiana with the plus moneyline here at -105 odds. An enticing same-game parlay is going to trail the two best players on the court as well, Domantas Sabonis and OG Anunoby: Pacers ML, Anunoby 20+ points, Sabonis 15+ points. If you trail that SGP, it&rsquo;s a monster payout of +425.
Milwaukee Bucks (-6.5) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
The defending champions are already dealing with injury concerns to two key contributors, Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez. With that being said, I still love the Bucks to win outright at home tonight. Minnesota has been feisty early on, plus the Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards duo is so entertaining to watch. If you want to double your money, here&rsquo;s a fun SGP at +155 odds currently: Bucks ML, Giannis Antetokounmpo 20+ points, Towns 20+ points, Edwards 15+ points, Khris Middleton 15+ points. As far as point totals go, those all feel very solidly like locks. If you like the Bucks to win outright, that&rsquo;s one of my favorite SGPs to bankroll.

There has been so much movement on this spread already throughout the day. Originally opening at -9, it moved down to -3.5 before jumping back up to -5 for the Lakers. LeBron James is out again tonight, plus Anthony Davis is questionable. Even if neither play, I love the possibility of Russell Westbrook going nuclear on his former team. I&rsquo;m rolling with the Westbrook-led Lakers to cover the spread, but expect Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to go toe-to-toe with him as well. Here&rsquo;s a fun same-game parlay to ride the momentum on &mdash; if you&rsquo;re expecting a Westbrook-SGA duel in OKC: Lakers -5, SGA 15+ points, SGA 3+ assists at +200 odds. Although the Thunder are 0-4, they&rsquo;ve actually been very entertaining to watch. I&rsquo;ll be tuning in tonight to this one throughout.
Phoenix Suns (-8) vs. Sacramento Kings
The Suns have been one of the most disappointing teams after the first week of the 2021-22 season, but this is the exact same script they followed a year ago prior to rattling off an incredible Finals run. I envision this as a get-right game for Phoenix, which includes Devin Booker flexing his muscles on a porous Sacramento defense. I&rsquo;m not comfortable enough to go with the straight-up spread here, but hammer the moneyline for Phoenix as a lock and a best bet. At +250 odds to flip the script, here&rsquo;s a very realistic SGP to tail: Suns ML, Booker 25+ points, Mikal Bridges 1+ steals and 1+ threes.

The Grizzlies have been one of my favorite teams to watch this season, and a lot of it is due to Ja Morant taking the superstar leap. In Memphis, Melton has become the perfect backcourt complement alongside Morant. Dallas Mavericks (-10.5) vs. Houston Rockets
I get the feeling tonight is going to be one of those highlight-reel moments from Luka Doncic. Dallas is favored at home by 10.5 points, but this Rockets team has been frisky thus far. Jalen Green is coming off a career-best 30 point game, so he could keep this one close in a high-scoring affair. So, I love the Mavericks moneyline at -630, but betting big on Doncic really helps boost the odds an entirely new level. If all of the following occurs at +230 odds, you win big: Mavericks ML, Doncic 30+ points, 8+ assists, 7+ rebounds, 2+ threes. Against a leaky Rockets defense, one that could struggle mightily to contain the preseason MVP favorite, we love the odds of this cashing. Doncic should have his way against the Rockets, and we&rsquo;re forecasting his best game of the season thus far. It was very tempting to roll with Mavs ML plus Luka to notch a triple-double, but we&rsquo;re playing it a little safer here just in case.
Utah Jazz (-7) vs. Denver Nuggets
What an embarrassing showing from the Nuggets last night at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Moseying into a matchup against an inferior opponent, Denver felt it could cruise to a victory. That&rsquo;s not going to happen early on in the NBA season. Cleveland beat them in all facets, and now Denver has to travel to Utah on the second night of a back-to-back. Hammer the Jazz here against the Nuggets, but not enough to cover the 7-point spread. Utah&rsquo;s moneyline odds currently sit at -320 on DraftKings, but a same-game parlay featuring Rudy Gobert gets you above +100. If Gobert accomplishes all of the following along with a Jazz win, you cash at +180 odds: 11+ points, 11+ rebounds, 1+ blocks. So far this season, Gobert is averaging 16.5 points and a gigantic 20.5 rebounds per game. With the Nuggets fatigued in a raucous atmosphere in Utah, we love the potential of Gobert having a great battle against last year&rsquo;s MVP winner. Ride with the Jazz moneyline and Gobert to hit his prop numbers.

New York Knicks (-2.5) vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Although Joel Embiid is questionable for tonight&rsquo;s game, I still believe this is going to be a very close matchup inside Madison Square Garden. Even if Embiid can&rsquo;t go, Philadelphia has the perimeter shooting firepower to stay close. After the Knicks&rsquo; disappointing loss on Sunday against the Orlando Magic, how will they respond against a division rival? I&rsquo;m riding with the underdog on the road here. I think Philadelphia gets the job done with an outright win on the road at +120 odds currently. If you want to sprinkle in a same-game parlay to boost the odds a little bit, Julius Randle to score 15+ points on top of the Sixers&rsquo; ML is at +140 odds. That feels like a winner, but this game overall is going to be back-and-forth throughout.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors (-9.5)
Golden State looks incredible thus far, thanks in large part to Stephen Curry constantly going off each game. Just imagine the possibilities for the Warriors when Klay Thompson is back fully healthy around Christmas. Quite honestly, the Warriors could soon jump back into that elite tier within the reloaded Western Conference hierarchy. On the road in Oklahoma City, this game isn&rsquo;t going to be close. The Thunder are 0-3, with all losses coming by double digits. Vegas is setting a trap here with a 9.5-point spread, but we&rsquo;re still going to emphatically hammer Golden State to cover. The young Thunder guards are no match for Curry, plus the overall ball movement should lead to some very easy shot opportunities throughout. Projecting another strong game from Curry, who&rsquo;s an early MVP favorite, here&rsquo;s a same-game parlay to double your earnings: Warriors -9.5, Curry 25+ points, Curry 4+ threes at +120 odds. That&rsquo;s a very enticing SGP I can't pass on. Golden State rolls on the road against OKC, and this one could be over by the end of the third quarter.
San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers (-3)
LeBron James is questionable for tonight&rsquo;s game in San Antonio, but I still love the Lakers covering. I&rsquo;m projecting a huge outing from Anthony Davis, who has yet to really flex his muscles in a matchup yet this season. On Monday night, the spread was originally -4.5, so this forecasts LeBron missing the game and AD becoming the Lakers&rsquo; No. 1 option. Although the Spurs have been surprisingly good thus far &mdash; all of their primary young core pieces are showcasing real talent &mdash; they are too overmatched against L.A. Personally, I think this spread should be closer to double digits than a one-possession game. Over a 65% hit rate is a great start, so let&rsquo;s see if we can keep the upward trajectory rolling here for an even bigger batch of games on Monday.

Indiana Pacers vs. Milwaukee Bucks (-2)
This is going to be a very entertaining game. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks travel to Indiana to face a Pacers team who has been competitive in every game thus far. I&rsquo;m rolling with the Bucks here to win and cover the small 2-point spread thanks in large part to Giannis. However, don&rsquo;t be surprised if this one is close throughout. For those who listen to &ldquo;Nothing But Bets,&rdquo; you already know about the Sidery-Same-Game Parlays. It&rsquo;s something that really helps boost your winnings compared to just straight-up bets. In this one, we&rsquo;re riding with Milwaukee to cover at -110 odds, but here&rsquo;s a fun SGP to throw in as well boosting it up to +200: Bucks spread, Domantas Sabonis 15+ points, Giannis 25+ points. That feels like a winner right there.
Charlotte Hornets vs. Boston Celtics (-1)
Another game I&rsquo;m going to be glued to my seat watching throughout. What a matchup here between Charlotte and Boston, one in which I was waffling back-and-forth on all morning. The Hornets are 3-0 with such a fun brand of basketball, while the Celtics are still finding their footing. On the second night of a back-to-back for both teams, I&rsquo;m going to go out on a limb and ride the wave with Charlotte. LaMelo Ball, Miles Bridges and the Hornets have me staring at the TV whenever they&rsquo;re on. Tonight will be no different, as I&rsquo;m taking the Hornets outright on the moneyline at -105. Here&rsquo;s an enticing same-game parlay to throw in as well for even more excitement: Hornets ML, LaMelo Ball 20+ points, Jayson Tatum 20+ points at +400 odds.
Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls (-1.5)
The Bulls are clicking on all cylinders right now. Not only is the offense fun to watch, but the defense has been even more impressive. Adding Lonzo Ball to the mix in the Windy City has really helped stabilize a better team effort on that end. Heading into Toronto, though, I really could see this game go either way. However, I&rsquo;m staying on the hot start with Chicago covering the 1.5-point spread. If this keeps up for the Bulls, they are quickly going to climb into the ranks of legit playoff team within the reshuffled Eastern Conference. As always, another SGP to keep things interesting: Bulls spread, Lonzo Ball 13+ points, OG Anunoby 14+ points, Zach LaVine 20+ points at +425 odds.
Atlanta Hawks (-11.5) vs. Detroit Pistons
This one is going to be a blowout, folks. I&rsquo;d be stunned if the Cade Cunningham-less Pistons keep this close. However, the 11.5-point spread is just too much for my liking here. I&rsquo;m taking the Hawks moneyline at -675 on DraftKings. And for those who want to double their money at +110, Trae Young can do that for you if he accomplishes all of the following on top of a Hawks win: 20+ points, 7+ assists, 2+ three-pointers. That seems very feasible for Young, and one that could quickly boost your winnings up for an expected blowout tonight in Atlanta.
Brooklyn Nets (-6.5) vs. Washington Wizards
Brooklyn has continuously burned me so far in best bets. However, I just can&rsquo;t stay away from this team due to a slow start. Looking to avenge an embarrassing home loss to Charlotte on Sunday, the Nets should be able to notch a win against Washington. If not, it might be time to stay away from Nets-related bets for awhile. With how the Nets have played recently, even 6.5 points is too much for me. I will simply roll with Brooklyn outright with the moneyline currently at -260. If you feel comfortable enough rolling with an SGP, betting on Kevin Durant and James Harden to score 20+ points is always a good option for boosting those odds.
Miami Heat (-13) vs. Orlando Magic
The Magic shocked the world on Sunday when they went into Madison Square Garden and defeated the New York Knicks. Will that momentum continue? No chance, in my opinion. The Heat look legit through the first week of the 2021-22 season. Their defense has been fantastic, plus Tyler Herro is emerging as a real Sixth Man of the Year candidate. Add on top of that the talent gap in this matchup, and Miami should roll easily here. A 13-point spread is a little too much for me here, so I&rsquo;m going to side with the Heat moneyline at -1000, but toss in an SGP to boost that little value up to +210: Cole Anthony 12+ points, Jimmy Butler 15+ points, Bam Adebayo 14+ points, Duncan Robinson 11+ points, 3+ threes from Robinson. That&rsquo;s a lot that needs to happen, but the boost from -1000 to +210 was too hard to pass on.
Minnesota Timberwolves (-5.5) vs. New Orleans Pelicans
I expect this one to be the highest-scoring matchup of the Monday slate, so I&rsquo;m hammering the over already at 226 total points. And with how the Pelicans have started off painfully slow without Zion Williamson, Minnesota&rsquo;s moneyline -225 is an easy bet here. Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and D&rsquo;Angelo Russell have meshed very well so far, and I expect the positive momentum to keep flowing at home against New Orleans. A same-game parlay I&rsquo;m rolling with at +235 odds on DraftKings is as follows: Timberwolves ML, Over 226 points, Towns 20+ points, Edwards 15+ points.&nbsp; In the over/under roundtables last week, our own Nekias Duncan <a href="https://www.basketballnews.com/stories/nba-roundtable-which-team-will-hit-its-over-win-total" target="_blank" rel="noopener">picked Minnesota to eclipse their mark</a> and fight for a play-in spot. I&rsquo;m siding with Nekias on that notion, plus the Wolves as winners tonight as well.
Denver Nuggets (-9.5) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Welcome to the Nikola Jokic experience, Evan Mobley. Although Mobley has looked fantastic so far, likely the very early Rookie of the Year favorite, going up against Jokic for the first time is always a rough one for young bigs. I expect Mobley to follow the same trend tonight in the Denver altitude. The Nuggets&rsquo; moneyline at -525 odds is what I think is the best bet of the night here, plus expecting a huge outing from Jokic. Here&rsquo;s a same-game parlay that can boost your potential winnings to +185: Nuggets ML, Jokic 20+ points, Jokic 7+ assists, Jokic 1+ threes. The MVP is going to send a message tonight against the Cavaliers. If Mobley holds his own when matched up against Jokic, go ahead and hand over the ROY award to him now. This will be a very fun one to follow along with tonight.
Los Angeles Clippers (-3) vs. Portland Trail Blazers
Portland has gotten off to a great start seeing improvements from its young core, on top of CJ McCollum adequately carrying the scoring burden alongside Damian Lillard. However, in the Staples Center, I&rsquo;m taking the Clippers to pull off the victory. Paul George is back in his element as the No. 1 option in Kawhi Leonard&rsquo;s absence, and I think he's going to have a great game on Monday night. If you simply take the Clippers&rsquo; moneyline (-145) and George to score 25+ points, it rises up to double your money at +110. That&rsquo;s a really solid bet to wager on in what should be a very close back-and-forth contest throughout.

Finding W's in a Massive NBA Monday - October 25, 2021

Here on <a href="http://BasketballNews.com">BasketballNews.com</a>, we will be diving further into NBA betting content this season. Last week, we unveiled our newest podcast, "Nothing But Bets," which is a daily betting show hosted by yours truly. Along with Nothing But Bets, I will be writing out my picks and props each day alongside the audio format.

Without further ado, let&rsquo;s go ahead and dive into my picks on the six-game Sunday slate. All odds are provided by DraftKings:
Brooklyn Nets (-9.5) vs. Charlotte Hornets
This is going to vie a very entertaining matchup where a lot of points are produced. However, when it comes to picking the game, I&rsquo;m rolling with Brooklyn thanks to them having the two best players on the court in Kevin Durant and James Harden. LaMelo Ball and the Hornets could keep this closer than expected, which makes me hesitate on rolling with Nets -9.5 here. However, I love the straight-up moneyline bet at -450. If you wanted to juice the odds up a little higher to -170, here&rsquo;s a same-game parlay that seems very likely to hit: Nets moneyline, Durant 20+ points, Harden 20+ points. I love the Nets here, but not enough to lock in a total cover.
New York Knicks (-12) vs. Orlando Magic
It&rsquo;s a small sample size thus far, but Orlando looks well on its way to hitting the under on their projected win total this season. Thanks to having so much youth within their rotation, Orlando has fully embraced a massive rebuild attempt. When the Knicks played the Magic in Orlando a few days ago, it was a blowout win for New York. I envision the same thing happening again, but still, 12 points is a lot to cover. The moneyline bet on the Knicks is -850, so there&rsquo;s not a lot of winnings off of it. However, if you throw in a same-game parlay betting on another great outing from Evan Fournier, it boosts it up in a massive manner to +235. In a three-leg parlay on DraftKings, here&rsquo;s what would need to happen in order to cash: Knicks moneyline, Fournier 20+ points, Fournier 2+ three-pointers. I like those odds, especially with the hot start Fournier has gotten off to.
Houston Rockets vs. Boston Celtics (-5.5)
I have a feeling this spread will rise a little bit before tip-off, because this feels too low for Boston. Although the Celtics have struggled, they still hold a massive advantage against a Rockets team filled to the brim with unproven young talent. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown should have monster games, one where I feel confident enough laying the points here at -5.5 on DraftKings. An easy same-game prop that could boost your odds revolves around Tatum scoring 20+ points with the Celtics covering the 5.5-point spread makes this a +115 wager. I like the chances of that cashing. Boston isn&rsquo;t getting enough love here, especially against the lowly Rockets.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Philadelphia 76ers (-7.5)
This is going to be a rout, folks. Even if Joel Embiid doesn&rsquo;t play, who is questionable with a knee injury, Philadelphia should still roll and easily cover the 7.5-point spread against the Thunder. OKC is a fun team to watch thanks to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and so much young talent, but they are completely outmatched here on their home floor versus the Sixers. I love the possibility of Philadelphia covering the spread here, which will be one of my best bets during Sunday&rsquo;s slate. If Embiid plays, expect this one to be over by halftime. If Embiid sits this one out, Andre Drummond should fill in admirably and keep the ship from sinking against OKC.
Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors (-3)
If there&rsquo;s one player in the NBA who&rsquo;s the very early MVP favorite, it&rsquo;s Stephen Curry. So far in two games, Curry is averaging a career-high 33.0 points per game while hitting on 47.6% of his three-point attempts. I expect the Curry show to keep rolling with emphasis, especially against Sacramento. Even though the Kings have impressed early on, I don&rsquo;t see them matching up well with Golden State. Admittedly, I think I was too low on the Warriors entering the regular season. Once Klay Thompson is back, Golden State looks poised to enter back into the Western Conference&rsquo;s elite tier. An underrated pickup for the Warriors has been Nemanja Bjelica. You&rsquo;ll be hard-pressed to find a better Warriors big man option than Bjelica thanks to his floor-spacing and playmaking acumen. An enticing same-game parlay to roll with tonight revolves around an outstanding performance from Curry, on top of a Warriors victory: Golden State moneyline, Curry 30+ points, Curry 5+ three-pointers. At +125 odds, that&rsquo;s far too enticing to pass up on with how Curry has opened the 2021-22 campaign.
Los Angeles Lakers (-5) vs. Memphis Grizzlies
The Lakers look out of sorts right now, while the Grizzlies look to be a team taking a jump in the West. I had a hard time picking this game, but I&rsquo;m going to roll with the Lakers finding a rhythm and pulling off the W. I&rsquo;m not comfortable enough to go with L.A. to cover the 5-point spread, but the moneyline at -200 will suffice. Another same-game parlay involving both sides really stood out to me at +330 odds: Lakers moneyline, LeBron James 20+ points, Ja Morant 20+ points, De&rsquo;Anthony Melton 12+ points, LeBron 2+ three-pointers, Melton 2+ three-pointers. It&rsquo;s a six-leg parlay &mdash; a little more extensive &mdash; but I like the odds of this cashing. Los Angeles relies on LeBron to actually be a good three-point shooter at this juncture, especially with the lack of spacing within L.A.&rsquo;s starting lineup. Meanwhile, Melton has been one of my favorite players to watch in the opening week of NBA action. Melton is taking a jump, averaging 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists while shooting 57.1% on three-pointers. The backcourt duo of Morant and Melton is so fun to watch in Memphis.
