The NBA plans to hold the 3-point competition and Skills Challenge in pregame of the March 7 All-Star Game in Atlanta, and the Dunk Contest at halftime of game.

ANALYSIS: Shams went on to say that each player who participates in the All-Star Game and various events will be required to travel to Atlanta on March 6 via private transportation. There will be daily testing for everyone except for vaccinated individuals, and participating players are allowed to bring four guests with them (but they will be required to remain at the hotel during the trip except for activities at the arena).

March 7 will feature all of the competitions and the actual All-Star game itself, which is a first for the NBA.
