Free agent forward Kawhi Leonard is re-signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Terms of the deal are still being finalized.

ANALYSIS: This has been the expected outcome throughout free agency. Leonard declined his $36 million player option, but all reports had suggested he did this in order to sign a new deal with the Clippers. After injuring his ACL in the 2021 postseason, Leonard has no timetable for recovery yet, Haynes reports.
