An MRI confirmed that Philadelphia 76ers star center Joel Embiid has a torn ligament in his right thumb. However, he will continue to play in the post-season with the Sixers currently owning a 3-1 lead in their first-round series against the Toronto Raptors.
Embiid will require surgery in the offseason to repair the injury.
