The New York Knicks are planning to sign free agent forward Taj Gibson.

ANALYSIS: Gibson reunites with head coach Tom Thibodeau in New York. The two spent six seasons together during the Bulls' run of success in the early 2010's, and also played together in Minnesota. Gibson is now 35 years old, but the 6-foot-9 forward brings veteran leadership and toughness to a young Knicks roster. He actually played in 62 contests for New York last season as well.
