The New York Knicks have interest in free agent guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Lakers also have interest. For KCP, he wants the right deal at the right price.

ANALYSIS: The
27-year-old guard out of Georgia opted out of his contract with the
Lakers earlier this week and will hope to secure a larger deal in
free agency. After missing out on Gordon
Hayward, the Knicks have expressed interest in signing KCP, who
averaged just over 9 points per game on 46.7% shooting from the
field with the Lakers last season.
The Lakers also have interest in bringing back their starting shooting guard, who hit timely shots for Los Angeles during their postseason run. Caldwell-Pope is expected to mull his options though and get the deal that makes sense for him.
