Free agent G Jared Dudley has agreed to a 1-year, $2.6M deal to return to the Lakers, agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports tells me and Zach Lowe.

ANALYSIS: As expected, the 13-year veteran out of Boston College will return to the Lakers on a short deal worth $2.6M. Dudley's impact goes beyond his play as he is a great locker room guy and has a reputation for standing up for his players on the court. At 35 years old, the 6'6'' forward figures to play a similar role for Los Angeles next year.
