Anthony Davis is reportedly expected to re-sign with the Los Angeles Lakers on a five-year maximum contract. New Orleans Pelicans restricted free agent Brandon Ingram is also expected to ink a max deal when free agency begins.

ANALYSIS: In addition to Davis and Ingram, Stein reports that Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell will likely both receive the maximum deals for a rookie extension, with both reaching the end of their inital rookie contracts. All four players made NBA All-Star teams during the 2019-20 season.
