Minnesota is trading Omari Spellman and Jacob Evans and a future second-round pick to New York for F Ed Davis, sources tell ESPN.

ANALYSIS: Spellman had most of his opportunity last season with the Golden State Warriors before he was moved to the Minnesota, where he didn't make a single appearance. Similarly, Evans only suited up for two games for the Wolves. Both players could have a chance to make their case for a rotational spot in Tom Thibodeau's rotation in New York.
Davis has been dealt twice this offseason already, but if he sticks around in Minnesota, he'll make for a solid backup big that grabs rebounds and scores in the paint for Ryan Saunders and company.
