The Knicks have signed Damyean Dotson to a hardship exception.

ANALYSIS: Dotson had been playing on the Austin Spurs in the G League, where he averaged 12.9 points per game and made 35% of his threes.

He last played for the Cavaliers in the 2019-20 season, where he averaged 6.7 points in 19.7 minutes per game.

Dotson spent three prior seasons in New York after being selected 44th by them in the 2017 NBA Draft.
