The Dallas Mavericks have traded for New Orleans' JJ Redick and Nicolo Melli, according to The Athletic.
Dallas has acquired JJ Redick from the New Orleans Pelicans, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Direct trade, no third team.

Redick has spent the last season and a half in New Orleans after signing there as a free agent during the summer of 2019. In his time with the Pelicans, Redick averaged 13 points per game while shooting 43% from beyond the 3-point line.
Prior to last season, Redick had made the NBA playoffs in each of the first 13 seasons of his career.
