Charlotte Hornets and swingman Miles Bridges will not reach agreement on a rookie-scale extension before the deadline, league sources tell @YahooSports.

ANALYSIS: The 23-year-old, Bridges, is coming off averages of 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in almost 30 minutes per game during 2020-21. Bridges will enter restricted free agency at the end of the 2021-22 season.
