Gerald Green will join Rockets G-League affiliate and attempt an NBA comeback as a player.

12-year veteran Gerald Green started off this season on the Rockets coaching staff, but still held the belief he could contribute as a player.

The rise of replacement players seemingly gave credence to those beliefs, and the 35 year-old will attempt a comeback in the G League.

Green was an All-Star in the D-League in 2012, helping him re-enter the NBA.
