Two of the best playmakers in the league won Player of the Week for January 17th-23rd in Nikola Jokic and Trae Young.
Nikola Jokic took the Nuggets to a 2-1 record as he averaged a triple double with 36.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 10 assists per game. In an overtime win against the Clippers on the 19th, he had a season-high 49 points along with 14 rebounds and 10 dimes.

Trae Young led the Hawks to a perfect 4-0 record as he put up 31.3 points, 9 assists, and 4 rebounds per game. He dominated with 37 points and 14 assists in a 12-point win over the Timberwolves on the 19th.
