Brooklyn has traded guard Landry Shamet to Phoenix for Jevon Carter and the 29th pick in tonight's draft, sources tell ESPN.

ANALYSIS: Wojnarowski added that "Monty Williams has been a significant supporter of Shamet since coaching him as an assistant in Philadelphia." The Suns now have no picks in this year's NBA Draft, but do pick up a sharpshooting rotation player in Shamet. Brooklyn adds a defense-first point guard in Carter and a fifth draft pick for 2021.
