In advance of the 2020 NBA draft, top prospect LaMelo Ball has signed a multiyear shoe deal with Puma, immediately becoming a key face of the brand at just 19 years old.
"I am really excited to be joining the Puma family," Ball said. "I believe the brand is the perfect partner for me because Puma will allow me to just be myself. I want to be 100 percent authentic, whether that's playing basketball or showing off my personal style, and that's what I want to do with Puma."

ANALYSIS: LaMelo Ball is figured to be a top three pick in the 2020 NBA draft. Aside from a few standout players, this year's draft class is not very deep in talent and that is why the Timberwolves have been rumored to be shopping their first overall pick. Nonetheless, LaMelo Ball has a very high ceiling and his exciting play will draw in plenty of fans for a franchise.
After the fallout of family owned Big Baller Brand, LaMelo Ball will join Puma for his on and off the court apparel. Puma has made some noteworthy signings recently in the NBA as they try to reinvent their presence in basketball.
