Malcolm Brogdon of the Indiana Pacers has won the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award, given out by the Professional Basketball Writers' Association.
ANALYSIS: Brogdon was one of five finalists for the honor, along with Jrue Holiday, Kevin Love, Josh Okogie and Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce. The award is presented anually to a person who "shows outstanding service and dedication to the community."
In July, Brogdon launched the Brogdon Family Foundation, which focuses on the Hoops4Humanity and JHA Education Project initiatives.
