James Harden adds another piece of history in his ever-growing list of accolades, surpassing Carmelo Anthony for the 10th spot in the NBA’s all-time scoring list on Saturday night, December 7th.
The man they call ‘the Beard’ achieved the feat with two made free throws in their game vs the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Los Angeles Clippers guard now has 28,290 points and counting.
The 37-year-old Harden becomes only the third guard in the top-10 list, joining Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.
Just recently, former teammate Kevin Durant became the 8th player in NBA history to score 31,000 points. If Harden continues his scoring chops this season, he can continue to climb up the scoring ranks in the NBA’s all-time scoring history.
Next up for Harden to surpass is Shaquille O'Neal with 28,596 points at the 9th spot.
