Indiana Pacers guard Edmond Sumner suffered a torn Achilles during an offseason workout today, the team announced in a statement. 

Sumner has been ruled out indefinitely by the Pacers. The 25-year-old averaged a career-high 7.5 points per game last season and shot 39.8% from beyond the arc. He has spent the entirety of his four-year career with Indiana.
