The rumors of Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens leaving to take over the head coaching vacancy at Indiana University have been officially shut down.
Brad Stevens says again he is not considering the Indiana University job.

Stevens' name has been one that's floated around the basketball universe as a possible candidate for the job, and didn't give a very strong denial when asked about it earlier in the week.
Don't actually think he'll ultimately take the job but blows my mind that folks on Twitter dot com will watch this and continue to say there's "zero chance" Stevens will ever even listen to what IU has to saypic.twitter.com/d0Veo0Pygr

But on Friday, Stevens finally quieted the noise.
Stevens says he was trying to be polite in how he addressed this situation the other day, but firmly says he has no plans to leave the Celtics, loves the situation he has on every front and isn't thinking about taking the job. "I'm not a kid anymore. I'm a 44-year-old Masshole." https://t.co/3mtDCwebBp
