The day before the Nets parted ways with Kenny Atkinson, he told The Post he planned to play Kevin Durant everywhere on the floor, from point guard to center. Now, new coach Steve Nash is saying the exact same thing.
“Kevin, with his length, is a matchup problem for everyone,” said Nash. “[Kyrie Irving’s] excellent off the ball. Kevin can play all five positions, and I plan to use him in all five positions. I get excited to use some of the guys on the roster: Caris [LeVert], [DeAndre Jordan], Jarrett Allen, Joe Harris.”

ANALYSIS: New Brooklyn Nets head coach, Steve Nash, plans to use all-star forward Kevin Durant at all five positions next season and going forward. With Durant's length he is an obvious match-up nightmare for anyone he faces against and Nash plans to take advantage of that.
This means we could end up
seeing KD play some point guard next season which would alleviate
some pressure off of Kyrie Irving and allow him to get into an
offensive groove. Regardless of what Nash decides to do, the
Brooklyn Nets future looks very promising as all eyes will be on
the Nets next year.
