Kawhi Leonard lead the surging Clippers with a phenomenal run of play

Kawhi Leonard has been the driving force behind a recent string of success for the Los Angeles Clippers, putting together one of the most dominant individual stretches of his career and helping the club climb up the standings. Over the past dozen games, Leonard’s play has been nothing short of elite – and the results are showing on the scoreboard and the box score.

The Clippers are 10-2 in their last 12 games, an impressive run that’s lifted them into playoff contention and sparked optimism across the organization and fanbase. Much of that momentum stems from Leonard’s consistent scoring and leadership. In a recent win over the Charlotte Hornets, he poured in 35 points to pace Los Angeles, with James Harden also contributing 32 points and 10 assists in the 117–109 victory.

Just days earlier, in a 119-105 win over the Washington Wizards, Leonard scored 33 points as part of the Clippers’ offensive surge, extending their winning stretch and proving that his resurgence isn’t a one-off.

Leonard’s 2025-26 campaign has seen him score at an elite clip – regularly reaching 30-plus points and showcasing efficient shooting – and his recent career-high 55-point game against the Detroit Pistons underlined just how dangerous he can be when fully locked in.

That production hasn’t just helped the Clippers win; it’s reshaped their trajectory. After a tough start to the season, marked by injuries and inconsistency, Leonard’s scoring and the tandem impact alongside Harden have provided stability and a clear identity on offense.
