Free agent guard Darren Collison is joining the Los Angeles Lakers’ G League affiliate – South Bay Lakers (17-9) – in hopes of helping lead the No. 2 seed to a G League title as well as earning a call-up to an NBA team, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

ANALYSIS: Collison had previously played for the Lakers back when players were being handed 10-day contracts in response to the COVID outbreak earlier this season. It's interesting to see Collison put forth the effort to make a comeback into the league when he chose to stay retired not too long back. One has got to wonder what made him change his mind.
