Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA's Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 15 of the 2022-23 season (Jan. 23-29).
Last week, Lillard led the Blazers to a 2-1 record. He averaged 42.3 points and 7.7 assists, while shooting a ridiculous 63.2% from the field.
Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to a 4-0 week, including wins over the Denver Nuggets (the West's No. 1 seed) and New Orleans Pelicans. He averaged 38.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Milwaukee is now 33-17, which is the third-best record in the East.
Other nominees from the Western Conference include Anthony Edwards (MIN), Paul George (LAC), Kawhi Leonard (LAC) and LeBron James (LAL).
Other nominees from the Eastern Conference include Bam Adebayo (MIA), Kyle Kuzma (WAS) and Julius Randle (NYK).
