Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham is officially the newest NBA player to join Nike’s signature roster, signing a multi-year endorsement deal that will include his first-ever signature sneaker, set to debut during the 2026–27 season, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Cunningham, who previously worked with Nike on a standard endorsement, now joins an exclusive group of active players with their own shoe line under the brand – a list that includes LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, Devin Booker and Giannis Antetokounmpo. 

The agreement underscores Nike’s confidence in the 24-year-old guard’s rising star power, both as the face of Detroit’s rebuild and as a marketable figure in the league’s next generation of headliners.
