The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly emerging as a team to keep an eye on a potential Ja Morant trade, as the Bucks try to create a contender around superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and stay fully committed to a winning environment around him.

Any realistic trade packages would likely cost the Bucks Kyle Kuzma, Bobby Portis, and Ryan Rollins to match salaries. If the Bucks are willing to attach their 2031 first-round pick to the potential deal, then perhaps the conversations with Memphis will progress even further. 

The Grizzlies are looking to acquire more draft capital or young talent to develop in exchange for a possible Morant deal, and that 2031 pick from the Bucks could be enticing for Memphis to take.

Pairing Morant with Giannis will give the Bucks a lethal duo that can potentially challenge the top of the East, with Morant providing the Bucks their badly needed star power to compete. His rim pressure and playmaking will help with the Bucks to put a little more pressure off of Antetokounmpo, who is playing at an MVP level rate.
