The 30-year-old is widely regarded as one of the NBA&rsquo;s top perimeter defenders, ranking in the top five for deflections, field-goal percentage allowed as a contesting defender, and points per direct pick allowed as a ball-handler defender.
This deal locks Caruso in through the 2028-29 season&mdash;keeping him off the free-agent market for the next 4 years.
Caruso and the Thunder go a long way back, with Caruso formerly playing in OKC Blue, the Thunder&rsquo;s G-League affiliate.
