The San Antonio Spurs rookie scored 12 points in the final game to deliver Team C the victory. He was awarded the MVP of the Rising Stars game afterwards.
Utah Jazz sophomore Keyonte George delivered the game-winning basket with a running 27-foot three to seal the win.
With this victory, Castle and Team C will now go on to compete in the biggest stage on Sunday at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. This year, the league has introduced a new format where the champion of the rising stars game will compete against one of the three teams of the all-stars.
Team C will do battle against Team Shaq&rsquo;s OG&rsquo;s team with notable names such as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant on All-Star Sunday night still at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

We have a large and passionate global fanbase, including in France and throughout Europe, and this is a rare opportunity for them to experience the excitement of an NBA game up close and in-person. In addition to the games in Paris this week, the league, both teams and our nine marketing partners are engaging tens of thousands of fans and youth from France, across Europe and beyond through exciting activations, events and programming that will serve as a catalyst for the continued growth of the game here.&rdquo;
Q: What strategies have been most effective in establishing the NBA&rsquo;s footprint across more than 200 countries and territories?
Leah MacNab: &ldquo;We have a three-pronged strategy to grow basketball and engage our fans around the world throughout the year. This includes creating opportunities for young people to learn, play and develop on the court through programs like the Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA, bringing the NBA experience to fans through events like the games this week in Paris, and making live games, programming and localized content as widely accessible as possible to fans no matter where they are in the world.&rdquo;
Q: What role do international players, such as Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, play in driving interest and engagement in their home countries?
Leah MacNab: &ldquo;Basketball is a truly global sport, and the international makeup of the NBA is a key differentiator for the league. The record-tying 125 international players on rosters at the start of this season, including the last six MVP Award winners, drive incredible interest in their home countries and regions and serve as global ambassadors for our game. For example, Victor Wembanyama not only drives interest in his native France and across Europe, but globally. As a rookie, Victor generated 1.3 billion views on NBA social media channels, becoming the fastest player ever to 1 billion views and the most-viewed rookie of all time.&rdquo;
Q: Could you share insights on how the NBA selects international venues and how those decisions align with the league&rsquo;s global growth goals?
Leah MacNab: &ldquo;Staging international games involves a long planning process and we look at several factors, including the availability of arenas with the capacity to host these games, markets that have an affinity for basketball, cities and countries where we can grow the game, and destinations that our teams and players want to go to. There&rsquo;s tremendous demand to host Global Games from fans, cities and partners around the world, but ultimately due to the density of our schedule we can only play a limited number of these games each year.&rdquo;
Q: With record-breaking global viewership in recent years, what are the NBA&rsquo;s long-term goals for international expansion?
Leah MacNab: &ldquo;In addition to finding new and creative ways to engage fans in markets where there is already a strong affinity for basketball and the NBA, we&rsquo;re also focused on regions of the world where we think there is tremendous growth potential for the league and the game. Africa, for instance, is home to one of the world&rsquo;s youngest and fastest-growing populations with a strong sporting culture and incredible basketball talent. That&rsquo;s one of the reasons we launched the Basketball Africa League. Having a professional basketball league in Africa supported by the NBA and FIBA expands and strengthens the basketball ecosystem, drives socioeconomic development, and inspires more African youth to play the game.&rdquo;
Q: Do you foresee the establishment of permanent international NBA franchises or an increased number of games played abroad in the future?
Leah MacNab: &ldquo;Right now, we&rsquo;re in the very early stages at the league office of evaluating the potential of expansion and what that process could look like. There are many cities and many ownership groups &ndash; both inside and outside the U.S. &ndash; who have expressed interest in an expansion franchise. As far as NBA franchises in Europe, the density of our schedule and the time it takes to travel here would make that challenging. But we continue to study the prospect of being more involved on the ground here on a year-round basis, which we&rsquo;re having conversations about this week with a variety of stakeholders who are in town for these games.&rdquo;

ANALYSIS: This trade provides the Spurs with their PG of the future to pair up with budding superstar Victor Wembanyama. San Antonio is already in the thick of the playoff play-in race in the West now, and with the addition of Fox they will be set for this season and beyond. Expect Wemby and Fox to terrorize the West for years to come with both of their primes peaking at the same time.
The Kings got a reasonable return for their disgruntled franchise point guard in Fox by getting back a scorer in LaVine from Chicago. LaVine should fit in seamlessly with star center Domantas Sabonis with his ability to shoot the three, cut, and score in all three levels. With Fox&rsquo;s departure, expect Malik Monk to take on more PG duties with LaVine sliding into the 2 spot. Moreover, the Kings are set for their future as well with 6 picks (three firsts and three seconds) also netted from the trade.
For the Bulls, this ends the Zach LaVine era in Chicago and receives three role players in return. However, the real prize of this trade for them was getting back their own pick from San Antonio which was top-10 protected. Kristaps Porzingis, Boston Celtics
Porzingis made his Celtics debut Monday night against the Clippers after being sidelined for five months. Porzingis has successfully returned after undergoing a foot surgery in the offseason, scoring 16 points with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. He helped the Celtics secure a blowout victory over the visiting LA Clippers team, 126-94. Porzingis looked healthy and was efficient scoring from the field, going 6/12 in his field goals.
The Celtics will now have their complete lineup that won them the 2023 NBA title, and adding Porzingis back into their lineup only solidifies their chances of going back to back.
Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies
Morant made it back to the Grizzlies&rsquo; starting lineup successfully with a scintillating 22-point, 11-assist performance in just 23 minutes in Memphis&rsquo; win over Portland. Morant was explosive in his return, throwing down a thunderous slam and dishing an eye-popping behind the back pass for a Brandon Clarke easy bucket.

Durant, a 14-time NBA All-Star, now has a total of 29,010 points after tallying 31 markers against the Mavericks. He has a career scoring average of 27.3 points per game in 1,064 games played over his 17-year NBA career.
&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve got to give credit to the people who have helped me since I was a kid,&rdquo; Durant said post-game about the accomplishment. &ldquo;Teammates who passed me the ball, set screens for me, coaches who drew up plays for me. They have signed DeMar DeRozan and he should bring a new wrinkle to their motion and three-hunting offense. DeRozan&rsquo;s mid range ability should be a welcome addition to Sacramento&rsquo;s offense. De&rsquo;Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis still lead an explosive offense, but defense remains a question mark. Sacramento&rsquo;s high-flying, fast-paced style makes them a regular-season juggernaut, but they&rsquo;ll need to tighten up defensively if they want to make a deep playoff run.</li>
<li> Los Angeles Lakers The Lakers are counting on LeBron James and Anthony Davis staying healthy for a full season. With the front office standing pat on making moves this offseason, the Lakers&rsquo; success will hinge on their superstar duo. If LeBron and AD can avoid injury, Los Angeles will be a formidable playoff team, but health is always a looming concern with this group.</li>
<li> Houston Rockets The Rockets added veterans Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks to guide their young core last season and this season could be the time for them to step up. They finished strong last year behind defensive minded coach Ime Udoka and the result could be a team that surprises many. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun have star potential, and younger players Jabari Smith Jr. and Amen Thompson add even more excitement. The Rockets also drafted Reed Sheppard with the 3rd pick and Houston is hoping to lay the foundation for success and could push for a Play-In spot this season.</li>
<li> San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama enters his second season, and the Spurs are fully embracing their rebuild around the budding star. While Wembanyama showed flashes of brilliance as a rookie, San Antonio is still in the development phase. But with the addition of Chris Paul, the Spurs now have a capable PG to feed Wemby and the other guys, possibly unlocking a new level to their games. With their young core, the Spurs may not be a playoff team yet, but their future looks incredibly bright with Wembanyama leading the way.</li>
<li> Los Angeles Clippers The Clippers&rsquo; fortunes rest on the health of Kawhi Leonard&mdash;again. After losing Paul George for nothing, Leonard is left to fend LA off by himself in their new arena at Intuit Dome. Gone are the days when LA has the talent to compete with anyone as they&rsquo;re just but a shell of themselves. Leading the way for the injured Leonard will be a 34-year-old James Harden and that might be too much to ask of the aging superstar. However, if Kawhi can return healthy and he can avoid the injury bug, the Clippers will be in the playoff mix, but that&rsquo;s a big &ldquo;if&rdquo; for this squad.</li>
<li> Portland Trail Blazers With Damian Lillard long gone, the Blazers will fully commit another season to their rebuild. Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons, and Shaedon Sharpe form a promising young core, but Portland will likely spend this season focusing on player development. While they won&rsquo;t be in playoff contention, the Blazers are positioning themselves well for the future, with an eye on growth and improvement.</li>
<li> Utah Jazz The Jazz are continuing their rebuild, with Lauri Markkanen emerging as a cornerstone player. While they have some intriguing young pieces like Taylor Hendricks and Keyonte George, Utah isn&rsquo;t ready to compete just yet.
