ANALYSIS: According to Wojnarowski, the league's general managers also had a call today to discuss handling the COVID-19 pandeminc. "Among topics for GM call today centered on tightening protocols, sources tell ESPN: Re-examining shootarounds and practice lengths, pre-and-post game socializing on court (for example, hugs), further restrictions on restaurant dining and tighter rules on mask-wearing," Wojnarowski wrote in a Tweet.
The Celtics-Bulls and Mavericks-Pelicans games scheduled for today have been postponed due to eligible player requirements. As the league continues to battle a rising number of COVID-19-related absences, uncertainty surrounding scheduled games is increasing.
