Davis has missed the last 5 1/2 weeks after suffering a fractured bone spur and stress reaction in his right foot. McMenamin adds that Davis will be on a 20-24 minute restriction.
The Lakers have gone 10-10 since his absence including Tuesday night's 133-115 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Lakers are 22-26 on the season and sit in the 13th spot in the crowded Western Conference but are only 1.5 games out of the Play-In Tournament.
The team desperately needed to get its All-Star big man back who, prior to his injury, averaged 27.4 points and 2.1 blocks along with career bests in rebounds (12.1 per game) and field goal percentage (59.4%).
