Stephen Curry passes Ray Allen for NBA's all-time threes record

On Tuesday night in the NBA's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, Stephen Curry officially etched his name in the record books. Curry passed Ray Allen for No. 1 on the all-time three-pointers made list early on against the New York Knicks, vaulting him to 2,974 career threes. The Warriors' superstar point guard achieved this mark in only 789 games compared to Allen's 1,300.

Curry's perimeter-oriented style of basketball has singlehandedly changed the way the sport is played today. On pace to become one of the NBA's greatest players of the modern era, and arguably of all time, Curry will continue to break records at warp speed.

A tip of the cap to No. 30 as he achieves a historic record at a pace only known to Curry.
