Security Footage of the Fight Between Isaiah Stewart & Drew Eubanks Finally Leaked

Isaiah Stewart sucker-punched Drew Eubanks in the tunnels of Footprint Center back in February 2024. The entire incident was pieced together secondhand, through witness accounts, police reports, and a three-game suspension handed down before anyone outside the league office had actually seen it happen. Newly surfaced security footage now shows the moment itself, giving fans their first real look at a fight.

The footage shows Stewart and Eubanks squaring up in the tunnel. Stewart then dropped the bags he carried and threw the punch that connected with Eubanks' face. According to the NBA's own review of the incident, Stewart "punched and pushed" Eubanks during the confrontation, which occurred roughly 90 minutes before tipoff and required arena security to physically separate the two.

At the time, Eubanks described the incident to reporters in blunt terms. "Basically we were walking in, words were said and we got face-to-face, and then Stewart just sucker-punched me," he said.

Multiple sources who viewed the video shortly after the incident told reporters that Eubanks barely reacted to the blow. He stood "stone-cold" until the two were pulled apart, a detail the newly leaked footage appeared to confirm.

The fallout came quickly. Stewart was cited for misdemeanor assault and briefly taken into police custody before being released without serving jail time, and the NBA later suspended him three games without pay.

Eubanks, despite the blow to his face, played through what was described as a minor injury in the Suns' win that same night. The footage doesn't resolve every lingering question about the fight, though, particularly what actually triggered it in the first place.
