Warriors Set New Team Record With Latest Roster Signing

After what many called an underwhelming summer, the Golden State Warriors are doing the best they can to acquire players who could help them compete in the 2026-27 season. With NBA training camp around the corner, the Warriors have apparently set a new record for themselves while building depth around Steph Curry.

According to GSWCBA on X, Golden State has given out its ninth Exhibit 10 deal this summer, setting a new record. Their previous record was six Exhibit 10 deals for training camp. This came after the Warriors waived Nick Boyd and signed Mile Kelly, who became the ninth such signing, in his place.

The DubNation HQ contributor also noted that if they end up signing Tyler Burton, that would bump the record up to 10 Exhibit 10 contracts.

The Warriors uploaded their training camp roster on X. The list of players includes the following:

For those unfamiliar, an Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal offered to players that is completely non-guaranteed. This allows teams to evaluate players during training camp to help them determine whether or not they will represent them in the coming season.

Once a team determines that a player is a good fit for their roster, they have the option to convert the contract into a Two-Way deal, allowing a player to represent both the main roster and their G League affiliate.

Warriors Star Looking Forward to Training Camp

With the NBA training camp soon commencing, teams now have the opportunity to start working on their chemistry and recalibrate from their hiccups in the previous season. In the case of the Golden State Warriors, this is a good time for them to figure out how to stay competitive in a stacked Western Conference.

Warriors star Draymond Green seems to be excited for the upcoming training camp, especially after witnessing the improvements from his teammates during their prior mini camp.

"I think Gui Santos is going to have a big year," Green said on his YouTube show. "(De'Anthony Melton) being healthy is great... Al Horford’s in incredible shape. It’s really good to see guys get going and just see guys mix together. It was absolutely beautiful.

"You had Jimmy (Butler) rehabbing and Moses (Moody) doing his rehab. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a lot of fun. Wish it would have been a bit longer, but you know, you get up against the clock, and schedules are tough, but really appreciative of Jimmy."

Looking at where things stand, a prominent player outside the Warriors veterans to watch out for is rookie Yaxel Lendeborg. During the 2026 Summer League, Lendeborg was named the League MVP and the Finals MVP.

He proved to be a promising talent who could potentially help the Warriors look better this season despite the relative lack of star power to surround Stephen Curry with.
