Marreese Speights re-signs deal in China

Guangzhou officially announced the team has signed Marreese Speights.

ANALYSIS: Marreese Speights signed a one year deal with the Guangzhou Long-Lions in 2019 after struggling to receive interest from the NBA. Speights will continue to play for Guangzhou next season as the team officially announced his re-signing today.

Speights spent his most recent season in the NBA with the Orlando Magic in 2017-18, averaging 7.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 13 minutes per game. Marreese Speights was also a key member of the 2015 champion Golden State Warriors, providing 10.4 points per game off the bench.
