Marcus Smart expects to return from a calf injury for the Celtics in their Thursday game against the Brooklyn Nets.

ANALYSIS: Smart has not played for the Celtics since Jan. 30 due to the injury. The 27-year-old brings a much-needed boost of energy and defensive prowess for a team that has won its last four games. Smart is averaging 13.1 points, 6.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game this season.
