After being sidelined for almost 10 months due to a torn ACL, Milwaukee Bucks forward Joe Ingles is targeting a return to the court on Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
ESPN Sources: After nearly 10 months of rehabilitation on a torn left ACL, Milwaukee Bucks forward Joe Ingles is targeting his return vs. New Orleans on Monday. Once Ingles successfully completes a final 5-on-5 workout Saturday, that’ll be the last hurdle in his comeback.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) December 16, 2022
Last January while playing with the Utah Jazz, Ingles suffered the injury and underwent surgery in February. Over the summer, he signed a one-year, $6.5M free agent deal with the Bucks in July.
The veteran forward adds another experienced playmaker to the floor for the Bucks who continue to be one of the championship favorites. Last season for the Jazz, Ingles averaged 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting nearly 35% from three-point range.
