Without further ado, let’s dive into our favorite NBA spread bets for Friday's slate.
Detroit Pistons vs. Milwaukee Bucks (-6.5)
When the Bucks lock in, they’re one of the most scariest teams in the NBA. At the moment, Milwaukee is looking more than ready to defend its championship. On Friday night, we love the Bucks in this spot on the road. Although No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham has finally brought light upon the Pistons’ long-term hopes, they will not compete with the Bucks. Hammer Milwaukee on the road to emphatically cover the 6.5-point spread.
Pick: Bucks -6.5
Brooklyn Nets (-8.5) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
It’s unfortunate Cleveland has run into some injury issues, because the wine and gold seemed poised to stay within the Eastern Conference’s top four. Without their defensive anchor in Jarrett Allen, the Cavaliers have struggled mightily on that end. Against the Nets, that’s a worst-case scenario matchup. We feel very confident in this matchup from a betting perspective, because Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are about to go off. Lock in the Nets at -6.5 as they prepare for the postseason.
Pick: Nets -8.5
Chicago Bulls (-2.5) vs. Charlotte Hornets
One of the most underrated matchups for Friday’s slate is in the Windy City. The Bulls’ inconsistencies since the All-Star break have derailed a promising start to the season. (Also, injuries mounted to an insurmountable point with key rotation pieces.) However, in a matchup against the Hornets, Chicago is in a good spot to capitalize. In what should be a fast-paced, high-scoring affair, we’r rolling with the home team to cover. Bet big on DeMar DeRozan to bring home Bulls -2.5 for bettors.
Pick: Bulls -2.5
