Draymond Green Gets Roasted on Live TV After Victor Wembanyama Poster Dunk

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has become a familiar face on Inside the NBA. He sometimes joins Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and Ernie Johnson on 'Inside the NBA' for the occasional episode where he talks basketball with them.
The quartet, known for injecting a dose of comedy into their analysis, is also known for poking fun at Green when he's their guest. His most recent appearance was no different, with the crew putting together a couple of lowlights to troll him with.
Inside the NBA typically has several recurring segments to keep their show entertaining. One of these segments is called 'Watch Yo Head,' wherein they replay some of the best poster dunks in recent memory.
With Green in attendance, the crew played a 'Watch Yo Head ' double feature. One featured some of the best dunks of the playoffs so far. The other was a collection of players posterizing Green.
The first clip was the viral play where Victor Wembanyama received an inbounds pass from the baseline for an alley-oop dunk over Green. Then, it was followed by three more clips.
The next one featured a play where Green met Alperen Sengun as he elevated for a dunk. Then, it was followed by a clip of Shaedon Sharpe throwing a one-handed tomahawk down over the Warriors forward.
Finally, it concluded with a clip from 2018 of James Harden throwing it down over Green. The 2017 Defensive Player of the Year was a good sport about it, though, laughing along with each clip.
People recognize Green as one of the NBA's most staunch defenders. He is not afraid of the physicality, and often willingly puts his body in the way of an offensive player to stop them. Often, this results in a defensive stop.
Occasionally, though, it can result in the offensive player getting the better of Green, resulting in plays like the one shown to him on Inside the NBA.
Aside from not being afraid of a physical play, Green is also unafraid of trash talk. The two often go hand-in-hand for him, but against Wembanyama, it resulted in Green being put in a poster.
Draymond Green Shares the Trashtalk Between Him and Victor Wembanyama Before Viral Poster Slam
The viral incident where San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama dunked over Draymond Green had a story behind it. Green shared this on his podcast, and he was chuckling while recounting the incident.
He reminded everyone that in the play preceding the dunk, he blocked Wembanyama's shot. Green was expectedly hyped after rejecting someone who was significantly taller than him.
He decided then that it was a good time to talk trash to Wemby. According to Green, he told the 7-foot-4 French star that he was "too little." Afterward, Green further poked the Spurs star by telling him he was scared.
Wemby was not fazed at all by Green's physicality, trash talk, or reputation. He reportedly told the Warriors' defensive stalwart to "watch this," just moments before the play.
As great as the highlight was, the play did not actually count. The referees ruled that Green had actually fouled Wembanyama on the floor before he elevated for the alley-oop. It might not have counted on the scoreboard, but the play is one to remember for anyone who saw it.
