Kyrie Irving will need "closer to two weeks" from the time he regularly joins Brooklyn's practices to be game-ready, Nets coach Steve Nash said today.

ANALYSIS: It's unclear if Irving has cleared the COVID-19 protocols yet after entering them almost two weeks ago, but the All-Star guard is still weeks away from a potential season debut for the Nets. Brooklyn has made the decision to accept Irving as a 'part-time' player, meaning Irving will only be available to play in road games for the Nets until he fulfills New York's vaccination requirements.
