Sources: NBA, NBPA loosen COVID protocols on fully-vaccinated players

NBA, NBPA have added updates to protocols for COVID-19 fully-vaccinated individuals:

- Rideshares and taxis allowed
- No face shields in treatment sessions
- On teams where 85% of players and staff vaccinated: hot/cold tubs and steam rooms permitted for multiple people.

ANALYSIS: With the COVID-19 vaccine widely available throughout the United States, the NBA has initiated its first step in relaxing the league's health/safety protocols put in place this season. The NBA will hope this acts as some type of incentive for more players and personnel to get vaccinated.
