Bradley Beal puts up career-high 60 points in Wizards loss

Washington Wizards All-Star guard Bradley Beal put up a career-high 60 points in a 136-141 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.

Beal only needed three quarters to beat his previous career-high of 55 points, as he had 57 at the end of the third quarter. Beal put on a shooting display in the losing effort, shooting 20-35 from the field and 7-10 from behind the arc. Beal also chipped in 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 38 minutes on the court.

The Wizards, who are just 2-6 on the season, will look to turn things around quickly and string a couple of wins together as they continue to fall in the standings. It should also be noted that Russell Westbrook left the game late in the fourth quarter after he suffered what looks to be a thumb/hand injury. Expect updates on Westbrook's status before the Wizards take the court on Friday in Boston.
