The NBA is expected to share with teams a draft of the league's second-half schedule as early as this weekend, or likely next week, sources told ESPN.

ANALYSIS: The NBA released only the first half of the 2020-21 schedule back in December because of the uncertainty of how the on-going pandemic would effect the season. It's safe to say the NBA was right on this call, as the league has already had to postpone 33 games this season. All but three of the postponements have been related to the league's health and safety protocols. With the other three postponements coming this week because of the severe weather in Houston right now. And according to ESPN, postponements that occurred this week involving the Charlotte Hornets and San Antonio Spurs have delayed the second half schedule release.

The Wizards, Grizzlies, Spurs, and Hornets will presumably play the most games in the second half of the season because of the number of games they have had postponed during the first half.
