Lakers coach Frank Vogel said Anthony Davis “is going to have some soreness” in his right heel but will still play in Game 6. Vogel expressed confidence AD will play through any pain and rely on adrenaline.

ANALYSIS: As expected, Anthony Davis (heel) will suit up for the Lakers tonight as Los Angeles looks to clinch their 17th title. Davis aggravated a heel injury in the Lakers Game 5 loss and seemed to be in severe pain when he went down. AD did end up finishing the game, but he was in noticeable pain during stretches of the 4th quarter.

Considering what is on the line for the Lakers, it comes as no surprise that Anthony Davis will play through any discomfort he has in that right heel.
