Grizzlies waive recently acquired forward Mario Hezonja

The Memphis Grizzlies are waiving forward Mario Hezonja, sources tell The Athletic NBA and Stadium.

ANALYSIS: Memphis acquired the five-year guard/forward out of Croatia in a three-team trade with the Blazers and Celtics this past offseason. Hezonja doesn't quite fit what the Grizzlies are trying to do down in Memphis, but he is expected to receive interest from multiple teams across the league after training camp ends.
