Pelicans' Zion Williamson (health protocols) cleared to play Friday

The New Orleans Pelicans announced that forward Zion Williamson has been cleared to resume team activities and will be available for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Williamson was ruled out of yesterday's game against the Clippers because of an inconclusive COVID test. The Pelicans are currently on a four-game losing streak and will look to get back in the win column Friday in a showdown against the defending champs.

Williamson has season averages of 21.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in almost 32 minutes per game.
