T-Wolves' D'Angelo Russell (rest) out tonight vs. Pelicans

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced that guard D'Angelo Russell will miss tonight's game vs. the New Orleans Pelicans. This will be the second end of a back-to-back for the T-Wolves, who currently sit 3-11 and last in the Western Conference. In his first full season with Minnesota, Russell is averaging 20.5 points, 5.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds in about 30 minutes per game.

The Timberwolves will be without their two best players in Russell (rest) and Towns (health & safety protocols), so expect the likes of Malik Beasley and Anthony Edwards to pick up the slack during tonight’s matchup vs. New Orleans.
