ANALYSIS: After undergoing a hip resurfacing surgery last year, Isaiah Thomas has expressed that he finally feels healthy again. Thomas had attempted to play through the injury the past couple seasons, but never looked comfortable on the court. Thomas will now reportedly be looking for new management as he attempts to find his way back into the NBA. Thomas played for the Wizards last season, averaging 12.2 points and 3.7 assists in about 23 minutes per game.

One team that comes to mind when thinking about a potential landing spot for IT are the Brooklyn Nets, who just lost guard Spencer Dinwiddie for the season (torn ACL). The Nets just recently applied for a Disabled Player Exception and Thomas could be on their radar. Nonetheless, if Thomas can be even half the player he was during his Boston days, there is no reason why he shouldn't find a home for the 2020-21 season.
