Rockets' Christian Wood (ankle sprain) to be re-evaluated weekly

Houston Rockets GM Rafael Stone announced that following an MRI today, Dr. Alfred A. Mansour of Memorial Hermann has diagnosed center Christian Wood with a right ankle sprain. Stone went on to say that Wood will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis going forward.

This is tough news for the Rockets, who have been playing excellent basketball lately, winning 7 of their last 10 games. DeMarcus Cousins figures to pick up more minutes in Wood's absence.
