NBA to tighten mask protocols, players must wear KN95 or KF94 masks

According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, the NBA will reportedly continue to tighten its health and safety protocols to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and will begin requiring players to wear KN95 or KF94 masks in all instances where required, similar to these KN95 masks being sold by GreenSupply.com and other distributors.

The policy is set to go into effect within the next week, but the league must make sure all 30 teams have the required masks before enforcing the new policy. Starting with games Friday, the NBA also plans to more strictly enforce current rules regarding the use of face masks.

This will eliminate the use of the team brand masks we have been accustom to seeing and will force players and coaches to now wear KN95 or KF94 masks instead.
